This release DEVONsphere Express gets new icons in the Preferences as well as a subtle cosmetic update to better match the appearance of recent macOS versions. We improved parsing dates in PDF documents and made some search syntax-related fixes. We also fixed compatibility to macOS 27 Golden Gate.
The toolbar in the Preferences now uses SF Symbols.
After downloading via Safari, the application could prompt to be moved to the Applications folder even if it was already installed there. It now quietly relaunches once from its current location.

Exact phrase searches, e.g., "a b c" could return similar but non-matching documents, e.g., one containing "a b b c". Also, if a document contained repeated words, e.g., the cat the cat the dog, a quoted search for "the cat the dog" didn't match that document. Fixed.
Removed the obsolete and unused devonbotd32 from the application package.

This maintenance release provides some performance updates. DEVONsphere Express now uses multiple search engines to improve the chance of returning results for web searches. DEVONsphere Express also better indexes third-party formats with Spotlight support as well as HTML and web archives. And the application can now dynamically manage its own CPU and disk-related activities, e.g., when the Mac runs on battery power.
